[Autohome News] On March 23, deliveries of the new Xiaomi SU7 officially began. Lei Jun, together with Xiaomi Auto brand spokesperson Su Bingtian, handed over the new Xiaomi SU7 to its first batch of owners, with Lei Jun once again personally opening the car doors for the new owners. During a live stream, Lei Jun revealed that the number of locked orders for the new SU7 has already exceeded 30,000 units.
Lei Jun stated that over the past two years, car owners have lodged significant complaints regarding our delivery speed. For this new SU7, we began production preparation two months in advance. We have also prepared a batch of near-stock vehicles, with delivery times ranging from one to five weeks, hoping to get everyone behind the wheel of their beloved cars sooner. Delivery upon launch: we launched on Thursday evening, and the first deliveries began on Monday morning!
Previously, Xiaomi Auto officially stated that the new SU7 secured 15,000 locked orders within 34 minutes of its launch. The new SU7 is available in three variants with a price range of 219,900 to 303,900 RMB. The new Xiaomi SU7 features upgrades across four dimensions: safety, handling, intelligence, and luxurious quality. The entry-level model comes standard with an 800V architecture, V6s Plus motor, LiDAR, and the Xiaomi HAD Enhanced system, among other features, significantly boosting the vehicle’s overall competitiveness.

The new Xiaomi SU7 features upgrades to its exterior and interior, enhancing its luxurious feel: this includes various color options, a major upgrade to the driver’s seat, and improvements in quietness and sun protection. Range has been significantly upgraded: CLTC range is 720km for the Standard version, 902km for the Pro version, and 835km for the Max version. Power and chassis have been majorly upgraded: all models come standard with the Xiaomi Super Motor V6s Plus and the Xiaomi “Jiaolong” Chassis. Safety has been significantly upgraded: all models feature standard 2,200 MPa Xiaomi ultra-high-strength steel, battery safety upgrades, and a triple-redundant safety door handle design that is 100% compliant with the 2027 new national standards. Additionally, all models come standard with assisted driving and an upgraded smart cockpit. (Text/Qin Chao, Autohome)
