[Autohome News] Recently, Hyundai Motor (China) Investment Co., Ltd. has filed a recall plan with the State Administration for Market Regulation (SAMR) in accordance with the requirements of the *Regulations on the Administration of Recall of Defective Automotive Products* and the *Measures for the Implementation of the Regulations on the Administration of Recall of Defective Automotive Products*.

    Recall Scope:

Recall No. S2026M0043V: Effective immediately, a total of 357 imported Hyundai Palisade vehicles manufactured between August 13, 2025, and March 4, 2026, are being recalled.

    Reason for Recall:

For the vehicles subject to this recall, due to an insufficient setting range for the seat anti-pinch function, the system may fail to detect occupants when the second- and third-row power seats are being folded, resulting in a pinching hazard. Furthermore, the seatback may fail to return to its original position. This increases the risk of injury to occupants and poses a safety hazard.

    Remedy:

Hyundai Motor (China) Investment Co., Ltd. will, through its authorized service stations, upgrade the software for the body domain controller, seat controller, and multimedia infotainment system of the affected vehicles free of charge to eliminate the safety hazard.

Hyundai Motor (China) Investment Co., Ltd. will notify relevant users via telephone and registered mail. Owners may call the imported Hyundai customer service hotline for detailed information regarding this recall. Additionally, owners can visit the SAMR Defect Product Recall Center website for more information or to report potential defect clues. (Text / Autohome Bi Ye)
