It is reported that the new car will receive upgrades to its intelligent driving assistance system and will feature powertrain options including a triple-motor four-wheel-drive system and a rear-motor rear-wheel-drive dual-motor system. Currently, it is anticipated that the starting price may be around 300,000 to 320,000 yuan.

    Exterior: The overall design of the new Avatr 12 shows little difference from the current model, retaining the brand's signature LED light cluster design while integrating the high and low beam units into the sides of the front bumper. Notably, the new car's LiDAR has been upgraded to a roof-mounted design and is expected to feature Huawei's latest and most advanced LiDAR, offering significant improvements in resolution and detection range.

    Body Side: The new car maintains the Avatr 12's signature fastback silhouette. A LiDAR unit is equipped on each front fender. The door handles have been changed to a semi-flush design. Multiple styles of 20-inch and 21-inch wheels are available as options. In terms of dimensions, the new car measures 5020/1999/1470(1460) mm in length/width/height, with a wheelbase of 3020 mm.

    Rear: The new car continues to feature a closed rear window design paired with an electrically retractable hidden rear spoiler. The taillights are a single-bar style, providing some recognition when lit. The rear bumper has a sporty design. The recessed license plate frame is integrated into the hatchback tailgate. The rear bumper uses a two-tone finish compared to the body color and is complemented by a rear diffuser trim panel (part of an optional sport package).

    Performance: According to the latest announcement information, the new car offers three electric drive solutions:

• The range-extended version uses a 1.5T range extender with a maximum power of 115 kW. The drive motors adopt a rear dual-motor design with peak power (rear left/rear right): 200kW/200kW.

• The pure electric version has two layouts: one is a rear dual-motor rear-wheel-drive with drive motor peak power (rear left/rear right): 251kW/251kW.

• The other is a triple-motor four-wheel-drive version (front single motor + rear dual motors) with drive motor peak power (front/rear left/rear right): 210kW/251kW/251kW.

    Furthermore, the MIIT announcement information also reveals details for the range-extended version. The model with product identifier SC7150AABB6HEV will be equipped with a 52.01 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery pack, offering a WLTC cycle range of 261 kilometers. (Text/Autohome Bye)
