[Autohome News] Recently, Xiaomi EV initiated the push for its major winter OTA update, the Xiaomi HyperOS 1.11 series. The update includes the addition of an Emergency Steering Assist function, a Low-Speed Collision Prevention Assist function, and mic-free karaoke, among others. Specifically, the updates include the following:

  • Optimization of Xiaomi HAD Enhanced (Assisted Driving): It predicts deceleration early and speeds up promptly when following vehicles; lane changes, merging, and bypassing obstacles are more decisive; navigation through complex intersections, such as multi-lane roads, is optimized to ensure the correct path is taken.Xiaomi

  • Added Emergency Steering Assist: When driving between 80-135 km/h, if AEB (Autonomous Emergency Braking) cannot avoid a collision risk, and evasive space and lane conditions permit, the system will provide emergency steering assistance to maneuver around the hazard.Xiaomi

  • Added Low-Speed Collision Prevention Assist: When moving forward at speeds below 10 km/h or reversing below 30 km/h, the vehicle can identify vehicles, pedestrians, two-wheelers, etc. If the driver fails to take control in time, the system will issue a warning and apply the brakes.

  • Added One-Sentence Creation for Xiaomi Super Tasks: Users can now create tasks, set one-time reminders, and configure alarms via voice commands.Xiaomi

  • Upgraded “Super Xiao Ai” Active Intelligent Butler Service: Based on vehicle usage behavior and the environment inside and outside the car, it actively offers greetings and provides operational suggestions.

  • Optimized Charging Map: Information labels are richer, and search filtering is more flexible.

  • Added Mic-Free Karaoke: Supports multiple applications.

  • Added Immersive Sound Effects: Available for multiple music-related apps.

  • Optimized Map Experience: Map display visuals have been upgraded. New options for “Dining and Entertainment” have been added, along with traffic light displays during cruising. (Translation/Qin Chao, Autohome)
