Changan Lumin Treasure Edition to Launch on October 30 with Significant Safety Upgrades

    According to the latest information, the Changan Lumin Treasure Edition is set to go on sale on October 30. The new model features subtle refinements to its exterior and interior, along with upgraded equipment.

    For the exterior, the front lower grille has been widened and accented with new white trim. The sides of the vehicle now feature redesigned wheel patterns, while the rest of the design remains consistent with the current model. In terms of dimensions, the new model measures 3,293/1,700/1,545 mm in length, width, and height, with a wheelbase of 1,980 mm, representing a 23 mm increase in length compared to the existing version. The AC and DC charging ports have been combined into one unit, and the rear design remains unchanged.

    Inside, the infotainment system has been upgraded with enhanced voice control, supporting smartphone connectivity and lane-level navigation. The layout of the buttons below the center console has been adjusted, and the center armrest has been removed to make way for a new glovebox on the passenger side. Additional USB ports have also been added.

    Powertrain-wise, the new model will be equipped with a motor delivering a maximum power of 35 kW across all variants. The CLTC pure electric range remains at 205 km and 301 km, with a front-engine, front-wheel-drive layout. Key safety upgrades include the addition of Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Hill Start Assist (HSA), and Traction Control System (TCS).
