[Auto Home News] The new Bluevolt E5 PLUS is set to begin pre-sales in November, featuring upgrades across multiple dimensions including exterior design, range, powertrain, and intelligent features. The new model offers a pure electric range of 230km and is positioned as a mid-size plug-in hybrid SUV.
The new Bluevolt E5 PLUS introduces a new "Jinghai Sand" exterior color, along with dual-tone color options and exclusive "Lunar Rhythm" alloy wheels. It also comes with an outdoor camping package, featuring an original integrated design that allows easy adaptation to various outdoor camping scenarios.
In terms of intelligent features, the new Bluevolt E5 PLUS incorporates the Douban Cockpit large model and boasts enhanced chip computing power, resulting in smarter and more convenient human-vehicle interaction. The model adds new functions such as APA automated parking and turn-signal initiated lane changing, enabling effortless handling of various parking and driving scenarios. Furthermore, the addition of a second-row entertainment screen and a digital amplifier with Dolby audio system collectively create an immersive in-cabin entertainment experience.
Regarding powertrain, the new Bluevolt E5 PLUS is equipped with the Seres Super EREV system. Its 1.5L engine delivers a maximum power of 70 kW, while the electric motor provides a maximum power of 160 kW. It also introduces an intelligent all-wheel-drive system, unique in its class, offering more rapid acceleration and enhanced grip on urban roads, rain-slicked surfaces, or snowy conditions, effectively reducing the risks of skidding and loss of control. The current Bluevolt E5 PLUS already offers a pure electric range of 165km, while the new model extends this to 230km. For users, this means they can rely solely on electric power for over a week of daily commuting. Additionally, the third-generation Bluevolt E5 PLUS is equipped with an FSD adaptive suspension system, which automatically adjusts suspension stiffness. (Text/Auto Home Qin Chao)
