Test Prototype of Qijing’s First Shooting Brake Coupe Revealed: Huawei L3 Assistance, Launching June 2026

    [Autohome News] Recently, the test prototype of Qijing’s first shooting brake coupe was revealed. Qijing is a joint venture co-founded by GAC and Huawei, boasting outstanding highlights in aesthetics, handling, and intelligence. The model is scheduled to launch and begin deliveries in June 2026.

    Jin Yuzhi, CEO of Huawei Intelligent Automotive Solution BU, and Liu Jiaming, CEO of Qijing Auto, stated in a dialogue that the car’s steering is precise—“it goes exactly where you point it.” It offers excellent handling, guarantees performance, and provides great space. In terms of appearance, it blends characteristics of supercars. The car is synchronized with the latest Huawei Qiankun ADS technology and possesses L3-level driver assistance capabilities. Overall, the vehicle is set to feature “million-class aesthetics, million-class handling, and million-class intelligence.” The model will soon commence nationwide road testing.

    Qijing’s first shooting brake coupe features a low hood with slightly bulging sides, presenting a streamlined and dynamic design. At the same time, the new car is equipped with large-sized wheels and a roof-mounted LiDAR. The vehicle boasts a large wheelbase and offers a panoramic roof. The rear end tapers inward, showcasing the shooting brake style. The interior seats are also designed in a one-piece sport style.

    It is reported that the new car will be equipped with Huawei’s Digital Chassis Engine in the future, enabling more flexible and intelligent handling performance. The new car will also feature Huawei Qiankun’s new generation of advanced intelligent driving systems.
