Recently, the Xiaomi YU7 GT was spotted again on the Nürburgring, showing a state that is very close to its production version. The market reception for the SU7 Ultra has far exceeded expectations, which has further solidified the launch plans for the YU7 GT. Clearly, SUVs tend to attract higher attention than sedans, and the YU7 GT is expected to become Xiaomi's first model sold in Europe, competing directly with the Tesla Model Y Performance.
The high-definition track photos offer a clearer view of the vehicle's details. Compared to the SU7 Ultra, the YU7 GT does not adopt an overly exaggerated design. Its front lip protrudes outward similarly for aerodynamic optimization, but it does not feature independent components on either side of the front end like the SU7 Ultra. The wheel design is similar to that of the SU7 Ultra, and it is expected to retain ceramic brake discs and high-performance calipers.
At the rear, there doesn't appear to be a more dramatic design, such as a large rear spoiler. The main changes are anticipated to be around the rear bumper. Compared to previous spy shots, this test vehicle remains largely consistent, with only minor differences in details.
In terms of power, referencing the SU7 Ultra's maximum output of 1548 horsepower, the YU7 GT is expected to have at least over 1000 horsepower. It might not use a tri-motor setup but rather a dual-motor configuration, with a 0-100 km/h acceleration time of under 3.2 seconds. Of course, the YU7 GT's frequent appearances on the Nürburgring suggest it is likely challenging new lap records. (Compiled by Automotive Home Qin Chao)
