[Autohome News] At 22:33:18 on February 6, NIO officially achieved its 100 millionth battery swap! The user of the 100 millionth swap was an ET5T owner from Haining City, Zhejiang Province.

It is reported that the cumulative power exchanged for NIO’s 100 million battery swaps reached 5.28 billion kWh. Compared to charging, this is equivalent to saving 83.41 million hours for users, averaging over 88 hours saved per user; compared to refueling, this is equivalent to saving over 26.3 billion RMB for users, averaging over 27,000 RMB saved per user.

Compared to gasoline vehicles of the same class, the 100 million battery swaps cumulatively reduced carbon dioxide emissions by 4,169.5 tons, equivalent to the carbon absorption of 167,000 trees in one year. By participating in grid interaction, NIO has contributed to peak shaving and valley filling exceeding 740 million kWh, alleviating grid pressure and improving energy utilization efficiency.

As of February 6, 2026, NIO has constructed a total of 8,627 charging and battery swap stations nationwide. Among them, there are 3,729 battery swap stations, including over 1,020 located in highway service areas, and 42,590 third-party charging piles have been integrated.

Previously, NIO announced that it expects to achieve its first quarterly profit since its establishment in the fourth quarter of 2025, with an adjusted operating profit between 700 million RMB and 1.2 billion RMB. In 2025, NIO’s total annual delivery volume was approximately 326,000 vehicles, a year-on-year increase of nearly 47%. In January 2026, deliveries surged by 96.1% year-on-year, reaching 27,182 units.
