8 New Features + 8 Experience Optimizations: Dolphin Smart Driving Version Receives Full OTA Upgrade

    Recently, we learned from BYD Auto official sources that the full lineup of the Dolphin Smart Driving Version will receive an OTA upgrade, adding 8 new features and 8 experience optimizations. It is important to note that the upgrade should be performed during non-driving hours. Before upgrading, please park the vehicle in a safe and level area, ensure the gear is in P mode, the network signal is strong, the battery level is above 20%, and all doors as well as the front and rear hoods are closed.

Among the 8 new features are:

• Addition of multiple dynamic premium themes, including cute pet 3D naked-eye themes, to the customizable themes.

• Smart Voice adds destination life search and food query functions, supporting sorting by distance, rating, and price.

• The dashcam adds parking assist, triggering a five-perspective recording function.

• New Map Bluetooth Interconnection function, supporting quick login to the in-car map account via mobile phone Baidu Map, and initiating in-car map navigation by shaking the phone with the map open.

• Added map via-point editing and sorting function, with the maximum number of via-points increased.

• Added Cloud Service remote window venting function, etc.

The 8 experience optimizations include:

• Adjusted the design and categorization logic of the map page.

• Changed the voice prompt logic.

• Improved the real-time video viewing effect of the Thousand-Mile View function at night.

• Enhanced the stability of millimeter-wave radar target perception.

• Improved the strategy of the parking assist function, etc.
