Changan Qiyuan A06 will debut on November 9, featuring lidar and 6C fast charging

    Changan Qiyuan A06 is set to launch on November 9. Positioned as a mid-to-large-size sedan, the new model is built on Changan's SDA global pure electric architecture and will be available in both range-extender and pure electric variants. It comes equipped with lidar, 6C fast charging, and an 800V high-voltage silicon carbide (SiC) platform.

    In terms of exterior design, the Changan Qiyuan A06 adopts a minimalist design philosophy. The front fascia features seamless full-width LED headlights (with 236 LEDs) and ultra-slim high-low beam lenses, complemented by an illuminated brand logo. Higher trim levels also include lidar and small blue indicator lights for assisted driving. The vehicle offers six exterior color options: Pine Shadow Black, Cloud Sail White, Skyline Gray, Floating Light Silver, Glazed Blue, and Sunset Purple.

    The model sports a sleek fastback design with a coupe-like styling. Dimensions are 4,885 mm in length, 1,916 mm in width, and 1,496 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,922 mm. The body sides showcase muscular lines, and the car achieves a drag coefficient of 0.205. Additional exterior features include frameless doors, semi-recessed mechanical door handles, frameless side mirrors, and 18-inch or 19-inch alloy wheels. At the rear, it features welcome lighting effects with flowing full-width taillights (274 LED beads). Both the front and rear trunks can be opened or closed with two gentle taps.

    Inside, the minimalist theme continues with dual-tone interior color schemes, including Pearl White, Elegant Gray, and Cloud Dream Purple. The cabin is equipped with 256-color ambient lighting and extensive soft-touch materials, including skin-friendly NAPPA textures. The vehicle also includes a head-up display (HUD) and an infotainment screen with thinner bezels. Below the center console, dual 50W wireless fast charging is provided. A 20-speaker NEVO Sound premium audio system is installed, which includes two headrest speakers.

    The seats offer 28-point master-level full-body massage functionality, and the rear seats support 145° of stepless adjustment. A panoramic glass roof with an electric sunshade, double-layer acoustic glass for all four doors, and an independent compressor-based cooling and heating refrigerator are also included.

    For powertrain, the Changan Qiyuan A06 offers pure electric and range-extender options, built on an 800V high-voltage SiC platform. The pure electric version provides motor outputs of 120 kW and 210 kW, capable of charging from 30% to 80% in 9 minutes. It offers CLTC ranges of 510 km and 630 km, accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.2 seconds, and has a maximum discharge power of 6 kW. The range-extender variant pairs a 1.5-liter engine (with a maximum power of 72 kW) as the range extender.
