[Autohome News] Recently, the Xiaomi SU7 received the Xiaomi HyperOS 1.12.0 OTA (Over-the-Air) upgrade, which brings enhancements to its advanced driver-assistance systems. Additionally, the update optimizes in-cabin air conditioning comfort.
Specifically, the update optimizes the end-to-end advanced driver-assistance system (XiaomiHAD) (available only on Xiaomi SU7 Pro/Max/Ultra models), improving lane selection and lateral control capabilities in certain urban scenarios.
The safety mileage threshold for activating the City Navigation Assisted Pilot (CNOA) has been reduced from 1,000 kilometers to 300 kilometers. Users can now unlock CNOA after accumulating 300 kilometers using Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), Lane Centering Assist (LCC), and Highway Navigation Assisted Pilot (HNOA), followed by re-logging into their account. The Parking Assist system has been optimized with improved parking trajectory planning for more accurate parking alignment.
A new Emergency Stop Assist function has been added for situations involving prolonged driver fatigue or distraction (available only on Xiaomi SU7 Pro/Max models). When using driver-assistance features, if the driver monitoring system triggers a level-three alarm and the driver still fails to regain control promptly, the vehicle will automatically activate the hazard warning lights, sound the horn, and begin decelerating to a complete stop. If the Emergency Stop Assist is triggered, driver-assistance functions will be unavailable for the following 30 minutes.
The voice prompt for entering the Emergency Stop Assist state has been optimized. If the driver fails to regain control in time, the vehicle will broadcast a voice message: "Making a safe stop. Please do not panic and take control of the vehicle promptly." The vehicle will then automatically activate the hazard warning lights, sound the horn, and begin decelerating to a complete stop.
